Michelle "Shelly" Altman is an American soap opera writer. She has been the associate head writer of numerous American daytime soap operas, including ''Another World'', ''General Hospital'' and ''One Life to Live''. She served as co-head writer of ''The Young and the Restless'' alongside Jean Passanante from November 4, 2013 to March 18, 2015.
